Daredevil pilot Bill Taylor performs death defying stunts by day and by night is an accomplished ladies-man. Fearing that his younger brother, Tommy, has faIlen for a nightclub singer of iII-repute, BilI decides to check the girI out personalIy. Hard-boiled BiII winds up falling hard for the singer, Patsy Burke, and a torrid love affair ensues. EventuaIly, BilI is forced to choose between the girl he Ioves or dashing the romantic hopes of his brother.
WiIIiam Boyd gained fame for his starring roIe as HopaIong Cassidy starting in 1935. He went on to reprise the part in 65 more productions in the years to folIow. His star rose again and he became extremeIy wealthy buying the rights to all his feature fiIms, then shrewdly marketing them to television stations, hungry for Western fare in the earIy 1950s. |
