This isn't a dream. lt's a plan. And NeaI might have the goods for it. But he'll never know, because he spends way too much time working at FIakes, a bohemian cereaI shop in pre-Katrina New OrIeans. When a junior-capitaIist opens a rip-off of FIakes right across the street, NeaI declares war. He gets sucked further and further in untiI Miss Pussy Katz realizes that to save his dreams, she must liberate Neal from his obsession. She joins the other side in order to bury Flakes – a mercy kilIing from her point of view. Bravely donning the paper hat, Miss Pussy Katz hangs her art next to a giant Cheerio, and defuses a cereal riot – anything to save the dream. But in victory, she sees that Neal will never Iive up to his promise. And when she finalIy gives up, it is Neal's turn to save the dream. |
