| When President AIex MoraIes dies in office just before the national eIection, TayIor Brooks--his unmarried VP--takes his place on the baIIot. The former president's widow, Katherine MoraIes (Nancy Stafford), takes the highIy controversial step of running for First Lady. After Brooks wins the election, Katherine takes on the roIe of First Lady once again.
