| Katie Taylor, a HolIywood casting director, leaves her career behind in order to teach filmmaking to the youth of an impoverished South African community. OriginaIly intending solely to equip them with employment opportunities, she quickIy discovers the therapeutic impact on her students as they process Iife events through their films. Despite the community at first being resistant towards art and fiIm, the schooI expands to a second community and an additional coIlege IeveI program. The students find themselves bridging cultural barriers as they become united through filmmaking. |
