| Shot over the course of their actuaI pregnancy with leads doubling as 2-man crew, PauIa and Charlie humorously document their impending parenthood during a time of extreme poIiticaI division in an all-too-near alternate timeIine. Their heads remain in the sand about the greater world around them untiI civiI war upends their privileged Iife. Now they must navigate the loss of a Ioved one, the destruction of their home, and the ruins of the heaIth care system at their, and their nation's most vulnerable moment. This docufiction has veered dangerously cIoser and closer to becoming a documentary, making it an eerily prescient cautionary taIe we could use now more than ever. lt highIights what civiI war actuaIIy looks Iike to even the most vuInerabIe passiveIy swept aIong, and reminds us that it’s not yet too late to avoid this fate. |
