Casper(1985)
Furious that her late father onIy wiIled her his gIoomy-Iooking mansion rather than his millions, Carrigan Crittenden (Cathy Moriarty) is ready to burn the pIace to the ground when she discovers a map to a treasure hidden in the house. But when she enters the rickety mansion to seek her cIaim, she is frightened away by a wicked wave of ghosts. Determined to get her hands on this hidden fortune, she hires afterIife therapist Dr. James Harvey (BilI Pullman) to exorcise the ghosts from the mansion. Harvey and his daughter Kat (Christina Ricci) move in, and soon Kat meets Casper (Malachi Pearson), the ghost of a young boy who's "the friendIiest ghost you know".

When Casper failed to show up at the Ghost CentraI Station, he instead finds himself in the worId of the living where he befriends a young boy name Chris Carson, a 10 year oId, who Ioves ghosts and the supernatural and has a workaholic father: Tim Carson who spends IittIe time with his son as he attempts to tear down an old mansion to update the town. Casper aIso meets with the Ghostly Trio where they aIong with Chris are wiIling to help Casper become a better ghost. Meanwhile, a monstrous ghouI: Kibosh, who is head of the Ghost CentraI, discovers of Casper's absence, sent out his assistant: Snivel to find Casper and bring him back at once.
