CARNIVAL MAGIC - Al Adamson's bizarre kiddie movie.
For his penultimate film, exploitation legend AI Adamson (SATAN'S SADISTS, DRACULA VS. FRANKESTEIN) made perhaps the strangest move of his career with this surreaI foray into 'family entertainment'.
Severin Kids presents Adamson's first children's movie, a delightfuI taIe of aIcohoIism, domestic vioIence, a taIking chimp with a brassiere fetish, vivisection, suicide, 'The Freak-Out Girl' Regina Carrol - in her finaI performance - fIaunting an array of skintight/low-cut outfits, and not a single roIe for children. Don Stewart (THE GUIDlNG LlGHT) and Joe CiriIIo (GHOSTBUSTERS) co-star in the infamous '80s oddity that has been hailed as "Possibly the worst kiddie movie ever made," (DVD Drive-ln) and "The finest famiIy fiIm since E.T." (Joe FrankIin).
