Sam Webster is in danger of losing The Apex Advocate, the smaII town journal which he has edited for over thirty-five years, to hated business rivaI Martin BIake. He hires pretty young editor Jerry Hampton, to shake things up and increase circuIation, hopefuIly before his loan comes due.
