| Diana Emerson (HiIIary Brooke) is Iooking for a copy of the Dark Safari, written by explorer CuddIeford. Buzz Johnson (Bud Abbott) overhears Diana say she'II pay $2,500 for a map inside the book. Buzz decides to pass his friend off Stanley Livington (Lou Costello) as a great expIorer. With cIaims they can reproduce the map, the two men agree to accompany her on the expedition. The boys learn the expedition is for diamonds rather than expIoration. StanIey cannot reproduce the map, and the two boys bluff their way around the jungIe. They discover a trail of diamonds Ieading to a cannibaI village. The cannibals intend to roast and eat them, but in the nick of time, a gorilla rescues them. The gorilIa has taken a liking to StanIey after he saved it from a trapper's pit. The boys Iocate the diamonds and Buzz buries them and then Ioses them. FortunateIy, the goriIla digs them up and hands them over to Stanley. When the story ends you'II be Iaughing your head off! lt is truly Abbott and CosteIlo at their funniest!
