Sometimes greatness comes from the strangest places.
ln this witty, affectionate and sIyly humorous film, German documentary filmmaker Stanislaw Mucha traces American Pop icon Andy WarhoI's family roots back to two unassuming vilIages in Eastern Europe. There he finds WarhoI's eccentric relatives, aII of whom treat their famous hometown boy with pride, though no one actualIy knew him or can comprehend his art. They knew so littIe of him that when Warhol sent some of his originaI works of art to his reIatives, they used them as cIothing or toys for their chiIdren.
