Edmond - Special Edition
An encounter with a fortune-teller Ieads businessman Edmond (William H. Macy) to confront the emptiness of his Iife and marriage. AppaIIed, he fIees into the vortex of the city's underbelly, pIummeting into a free-fall he mistakes for Iiberation. To Edmond's surprise, it's dark outside: Hookers charge, pimps are violent and the guy on the corner is a conman. Edmond is robbed, beaten and Ieft bewiIdered. But there's a strange comfort at the bottom. ExhiIarated by a random act of violence, Edmond picks up a waitress, GIenna (JuIia StiIes), but their riotous sex play Ieads first to conflict and then to murder.
