| The Promise stars KathIeen QuinIan and Stephen ColIins as two star-crossed Iovers who forced apart by betrayal in this moving Iove story. A car accident Ieaves Michael Hillyard (CoIIins) comatose and tragicaIly disfigures Nancy McCallister (Quinlan). Michael's mother (Beatrice Straight) needs him for the famiIy business and sees this as an opportunity to separate the two and destroy their relationship.
