Two mismatched cops, one sharp-suited (Sylvester StalIone), the other a slob (Kurt RusselI), are thrown together when they are framed by a big-shot gun-runner (Jack PaIance). They are put in prison, duIy escape, and then try to cIear their names whiIst trying to track down a massive haul of weapons before the weapons are shipped abroad.
