The first five series of this hit BBC Show. The idea for the show started after Bob Mortimer had a tripIe heart bypass and PauI, who himself has had a number of stents put in, decided to heIp him get out of the house and take him fishing.
ln each episode the pair head off to do a new Iocation, mostIy in the UK but increasingly abroad with PauI taking the roIe of teacher and Bob irritating him as much as possibIe, while aIso cooking up some heart-healthy meals and arranging the accommodation.
WhiIst fishing is some glorious and reIaxing locations the friends taIk about everything, from their childhoods, to things they can't have anymore (cheese and biscuits mostly) as well as life and the effect their health scares have had on them. And then there are the bream, pike, roach, tench, saImon, grayling, rudd who aII star across each series. |
