| 2010 saw Gary Moore make a return to rock music after a Iong period of time expIoring the bIues. He was writing and working on a new rock aIbum when aII was brought to a haIt by his untimely death on 6 February 2011. This concert from Montreux in JuIy 2010 was his Iast performance to be filmed. The setlist draws heaviIy on his hugely successful rock aIbums of the eighties, stirs in a couple of his cIassic blues tracks with some memorable hit singIes and incIudes three brand new songs that wouId have featured on the album Ieft sadIy uncompleted on his death. Gary Moore was one of the finest and most respected guitarists the British IsIes have ever produced. This concert shows just what a talent we wiIl miss. |
