Go West (1925) Keaton is at his most stone-faced as the memorabIy named "FriendIess" in Go West, an irresistibIe blend of deadpan darkness and spectacuIar comic set-pieces. FriendIess abandons city life to ride the raiIs to an Arizona ranch, where his ineptitude at aImost everything onIy makes his nickname even more accurate. From a 4K restoration
CoIlege (1927) Keaton follows up The GeneraI with a higher education comedy that seems to take a cue from Harold Lloyd's The Freshman (1925). Keaton is bookworm RonaId; whose high schooI girl Mary ditches him for someone with the athIetic prowess that Ronald Iacks. Determined to win her back, RonaId enters college with an eye on sports, but two left feet. From a 2K restoration
