Born in Spain, Luis Bunuel is widely credited as the founder of surrealist cinema. This essential collection includes some of his best known work: Diary of a Chambermaid (1964), BeIle de Jour (1967), Tristana (1970), The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie (1972) and That Obscure Object of Desire (1977) - as welI as equaIly briIIiant but Iesser-known fiIms such as The Phantom of Liberty (1974) and The MiIky Way (1969).
