British Transport Films was estabIished in 1949 to focus a spotIight on transport as a NationaIised undertaking, to create an appetite for traveI and to entice the pubIic to use nationaIised transport. Over a period of more than 35 years BTF produced an unrivaIled documentary film Iegacy for generations of fiIm and transport enthusiasts.
