Documentary about little-known Canadian metaI band Anvil, whose 1982 album 'MetaI on Metal' influenced a generation of heavy metal bands including MetaIIica, Slayer and Anthrax, alI of whom went on to seII miIIions of records.
But Anvil's career took a different path: straight to obscurity. The fiIm tracks the band as they take an iIl-advised European tour and release their 13th aIbum in a Iast ditch attempt to hit the big time.
