She started college at age 39. Upon earning a law degree, she became a trial court staff attorney for 18 years and has been a General Magistrate in the Florida court system for ten years. Primarily involved with child dependency and family law cases, she is also involved in pending civil and probate litigation. Bishop began collecting anecdotes and stories about the law and the courts several years ago and felt that they were just too funny to keep to herself, so she's sharing some of these stories with the hope that it gives the readers some chuckles and lightens their day.
