These two sections together discuss Constituent Assembly, interim government, various political alternatives and developments, the civil disobedience movements organized by Muslim League in various parts of the country. It also examines communalism in provinces, the demand for partition in Punjab and Bengal as well as the role of the last viceroy, volunteer organizations and the problem of refugees and minority groups.
