| The Provenance of Paradise on Earth is the fourth installment of the adventures of Mitch Tanner and Rebecca Fairbanks. As they head to Washington D.C. to begin the next chapter of their lives, both Mitch and Rebecca have a lot of adjustments to make. It isn't easy for Rebecca to accept being the little fish in the big pond of Washington politics, and Mitch is feeling like a fish out of water herself as the lesbian partner of the Senator. Their busy new life is helping both of them to keep their minds off the fact that Mary and Lisa are beginning a romantic relationship, much to the consternation of Rebecca. Meanwhile, Trish and Robbie make a startling discovery of their own as they investigate the legacy left to Trish by Albert. Among the personal effects that Albert had informally bequeathed to Trish was an envelope with a photo and a notarized letter. The importance of these items is realized by Trish and Robbie after several burglary attempts. As things heat up, all parties involved get pulled into the intrigue of politics and stolen art work. The Provenance of Paradise on Earth is more than the rights to a famous work of art. It's also how people in love truly own the greatest gift of all. |
