| One Percenter [n. wn p¿rsnt¿r] One part in a hundred parts; unique; extraordinary; exceptional; special...
We do not live on an easy planet. Everyone struggles to find their fit. Some of us more than most. For these unique individuals, life - from their first step to their very last - is too often characterized by uncertainty, obstacles, and erratic traction.
Such individuals are frequently branded as resistant, different, distracted, or even broken. Other descriptors as well, like lazy, troubled, or even mentally ill, can find a way into that mix. Those thus targeted are far too often inaccurately framed and even condemned by these misapplied labels.

Knowing that complexity is sometimes best served by simplicity, most of the pages of The One Percenter rest on a half-dozen or so sentences. Each can be read and digested on its own. This is on purpose - complex people frequently find reading tedious and unrewarding.
This book is dedicated to those of us who are so gifted they are sometimes overloaded. The mission - to help turn that unintended burden into a much intended and astonishing blessing... |
