If we choose that we want to meet God and spend eternity in heaven with him, we have to choose to follow him in this life. He has shown us the way he wants us to live. Jesus, the only begotten Son of God, came into this world to show us the way that we might meet God. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh to the Father but by me." (John 14:6)
