Peter's entire life changes when he finds two strangely beautiful teenagers hiding in the Pennsylvania woods. Their names are Axel and Pearl, and they are brother and sister. While Pearl remains silent, Axel explains to Peter that he and his sister are actually aliens from Saturn's moon Enceladus. They're stranded on Earth, and they need Peter's help to get back home. Peter doesn't like the vibe Axel is giving off, so he turns to run away the first chance he gets. But Pearl surprises him by silently asking him to take her with him. Without another soul knowing, Peter hides Pearl in his bedroom to nurse her back to health. She refuses to speak, but they gradually form a bond and become closer.
