Some recently invented magic dust? (In all fairness, yes, as some of the technology needed to bring the pieces together is quite new.) But no! The free lunch was well-known to American revolutionary Thomas Paine, American economist Henry George, Father of China Sun Yat-Sen, Russian author Leo Tolstoy, and English statesman Winston Churchill. The free lunch is that gift from God or Nature that we all rely on, yet take for granted - the ground beneath our feet!
