Tea & Biscuits

A collection of 24 short stories

We all eat and drink for more than mere survival - the characters in this book are no exception. Food comforts and reassures, connects us with others. Tea breaks refresh or relax us, and can be an opportunity to make friends and develop relationships.

Biscuits make a great little treat, or can be so much more. Any baking done specially for someone else shows how much we care. As does cooking with them and passing on our favourite recipes.

The food and drink choices we make expose aspects of our personality. What we give to others, and the care we take when doing so, can be even more revealing.

Sharing food helps build, or repair, relationships. It creates and recreates traditions and brings back memories - if that's what we want.

Whether you prefer your tea unsweetened and black, or with milk and two sugars, a selection of chocolate biscuits, or a single plain digestive, this collection of 24 stories provides the perfect snack.
