Captain Nina Leroux is having a terrible week.

• Her pirate ship has been repossessed (she'll steal it back, though)
• Her temporary crewmate, Aerwyn, is useless (but really hot)
• And she's also on the run from another pirate.

Getting into a crewmates-with-benefits situation with Aerwyn seems like the perfect distraction from all the above. Nina doesn't do feelings, so having a set endpoint to their relationship - when they drop Aerwyn off at her destination - seems perfect.

But their agreement might leave Nina with more than she'd bargained for: attachment to someone who will inevitably leave. Aerwyn is mysterious as she is beautiful, and Nina finds herself falling for her, hook, line, and sinker.

Will Nina be able to keep her crew safe from swashbuckling marauders, and, just as importantly, keep her heart safe from Aerwyn?
