She learns a lot of new information through her dreams about parallel realms and the multiverse. Sandy, Lucy, Dr. Richard, Marty, and James, are the key characters.
Sandy assisted Marty in finding James despite having no knowledge of it.
Without Lucy, Dr. Richard cannot discover the truth about Marty and the serial killer.
Without Dr. Richard, Sandy would not be aware of the reality of her ideal hero.
