Sandglass: The Collection traces the stories and the efforts of an author who enters their fifth decade as a provocative, disquieting voice who has pushed the boundaries of the Science Fiction, Fantasy, New Weird and Queer genres and has redefined Slipstream fiction repeatedly over decades. The Essays provide background to these Stories also the pitfalls in being a South African author planning and launching a volume-spanning, decades-long 'future history' project.
