El Dr. Rolando Espinosa Carballo fue Abogado, Doctor en Pedagogía, Doctor en Ciencias Sociales, Profesor de la Universidad Metodista Candle. ExPresidente del Colegio Nacional de Pedagogos de Cuba. Exiliado en Miami a principios de los años 60' realizó una gran labor pedagógica y patriótica, manteniendo y educando sobre las principales ideas que sirvieron de cimiento a la nación cubana. Dirigió el Colegio de Pedagogos de Cuba en el Exilio. Fue Profesor de los Cursos de Cultura Cubana de la Universidad de Miami. Falleció exiliado en Miami. El autor dejó varios libros para la formación de jóvenes y adultos interesados en conocer la historia de Cuba. Este libro presenta en una forma simple y compresible una síntesis de los símbolos (bandera, himno y escudo) ,las fechas más importantes de la nación cubana. También las biografías de los forjadores y héroes cubanos: Félix Varela, Saco, Luz y Caballero, Mendive, Martí, Maceo, Agramonte, Mariana Grajales, Heredia, Céspedes, Calixto García, Máximo Gómez, Martha Abreu, Cosme de la Torriente y muchos otros. Dr. Rolando Espinosa Carballo was a Lawyer, Doctor in Pedagogy, Doctor in Social Sciences, Professor at the Methodist University Candle. Former President of the National College of Pedagogues of Cuba. Exiled in Miami in the early 1960s, he carried out great pedagogical and patriotic work, maintaining and educating about the main ideas that served as the foundation of the Cuban nation. He directed the College of Pedagogues of Cuba in Exile. He was a Professor of the Cuban Culture Courses at the University of Miami. He died in exile in Miami. The author left several books for the training of young people and adults interested in knowing the history of Cuba.
