| A lonely kelpie trapped in his small world. A human on the run in need of a safe haven.
Alaric
After almost killing two humans under the influence of dark magic, I'd lost the last of my will to live. What was the point, when every day was exactly like the one before and I had no one to share it with?
Just when I was about to end it all, a human came stumbling into my clearing with a bizarre offer: He'd be my friend if I promised to protect him from the people he was running from.
Bellamy
When I realized I was missing a day's worth of memories, I had to investigate what had happened, and it led me to Alaric. Fascinated by the strange being that he was, I ended up striking a deal with him.
The more time I spent with Alaric, the more I realized what a sweet and kind man hid behind the 'monster.' It wasn't a surprise when I fell in love with him, but the people I'd been running from were determined to find me. Would they let me have my happily ever after?
