| Retention of junior and middle level managerial employees has always been poised as a serious organizational problem that the Indian organizations have been facing. Better opportunities in other industries and organizations have led to an exodus of managers, especially at junior levels from their present workplaces. Although the recent worldwide economic downturn and industrial recession have put a curb on switchover of jobs, the impact of this phenomenon is short - lived.
