Gianna is a 16-year-old girl who has experienced trauma in her earlier childhood. While being raised by her grandmother, Gianna has the chance to travel back in time to witness events that happened to her ancestors. This allows Gianna, and her grandmother, to learn family secrets and to explore the effects of generational trauma in their bloodline.
