| Tony Marciano graduated High School and went into the Army. After his enlistment was complete, and he returned home from Desert Storm, Tony followed in his father's footsteps going into law enforcement. Tony is now a Captain with the Town of Shandaken Police Department. He is also a volunteer EMT, and serves with the regional SWAT team as a medic.
Tony also has a life outside of work. Lately this involves his lifelong friend Lauren, a divorced nurse, and her two teenage girls who have always known him as Uncle Tony. With his wife gone courtesy of a drunk driver, Lauren means for her and Tony to be a lot more than just friends. Riding along with Tony and Musket, his newest German Shepherd, you will meet some of the officers he works with as they work to ensure the Town of Shandaken is a safe place to live, work and visit. Shandaken is buried in the heart of the Catskill Mountains in Upstate New York covering over one hundred fifty square miles with less than two thousand year round residents. It is a vast expanse of rugged mountains and waterways serving New York City with fresh water, and year round recreation.
See Tony and other officers handle calls for service like responding to a burglary and then processing the crime scene. Arrive at an active domestic violence incident, arrest the aggressor and struggle to save the victim's life. Work traffic accidents, find bad guys, recover stolen items and deal with misled children. Watch as a meth lab is discovered, dismantled and cleaned up. Go with the regional SWAT team as they arrest a wanted murderer, and again as they execute a search warrant.
