| Mixed TIDINGS is a volume of poems for those who have a love for nature in its wonder and infinite variety and its widely different and fascinating moods. While there is particular emphasis on the always captivating world of birds, a specialty of the poet, Michael Frederick Clark, the nature imagery in general is frequently used as a framework to explore much broader themes, including social commentary and criticism on many levels of current interest.
