In Roundabout, Sally is furious with Felix for abandoning her. It wasn't his fault, Felix has died suddenly, but old misunderstandings still make her angry. In their ramshackle cottage by the sea, Sally battles to deal with his absence, his possessions, and the puzzle of their on-again, off-again romance.

Now, in LAF - Life After Felix, Sally, still bereft after losing her lover, thinks she may have met his perfect replacement. Pushed to move on by the departed Felix, his voice real or imagined, she tries to take the plunge. But the stranger's impact could go way beyond romance. He offers keys that could save lives, that of Felix's newborn grandson and possibly Sally herself.
