| Watershed management is a multidisciplinary approach for rational utilization of natural resources existing in the watershed for optimum and sustained production with minimum hazards to natural resources and environment. It requires collection and analysis of a great deal of information on physical relationship of vegetation, soil, water to land management, which would ensure socio-economic progress of a region.
