For easy learning and teaching, the book is divided into six (6) main chapters that cover the following topics:Number and Operations: Base Ten Fractions Rational Numbers Number and Quantity: The Real Number System The chapters include mathematical thinking, reasoning, key concepts, and terminology. Each chapter is divided into several sections.Each section includes a list of key math terminology and concepts that students should understand to succeed on their exams. Each section provides step-by-step instructions that learners can easily follow, along with a practice exercise of ten questions. The practice exercises include 2-step and 3-step problems that require mathematical thinking and reasoning. They take various formats, such as multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blank, matching, ordering, and drawing or plotting. Answer keys are given at the end of each section. At the end of each chapter, learners are given 10 complex or multi-step word problems that summarize the sections' content.
