Joe was a seasoned airline pilot with a passion for flying-until the sudden death of his best friend, Scott, sent him spiraling into darkness. Consumed by grief and drowning in alcohol, Joe's life began to unravel. Despite his wife's pleas for help, he stubbornly avoided treatment, fearing for his career.

Years later, a night of nostalgia and hallucinogenic mushrooms leads Joe to a harrowing choice. Boarding a flight not as a pilot but in the jump seat, he succumbs to a nightmarish delusion, convinced that the only way to "wake up" is to crash the plane. In a frantic attempt to regain control, he pulls the emergency lever, triggering chaos in the skies.

As the aircraft plunges into danger, Joe's fragile mind battles reality. A near-catastrophe unfolds, leading to his arrest on multiple charges. With his pilot's license revoked and his life in ruins, Joe finally confronts his demons. He and his wife launch a non-profit to help fellow pilots access mental health resources, ensuring that no one else suffers from the shadows of despair.

"Flight of Shadows" is a gripping exploration of grief, mental health, and redemption. Join Joe on a harrowing journey where the heights of the sky collide with the depths of the human mind-will he find the courage to reclaim his life before it's too late?
