After an unknown devastation sweeps across the country, Magdala and her father
flee their home, setting out across the wasteland in search of a cure for her disability
in the most unlikely of places.
As a strange sickness begins to take hold, Magdala finds herself placing her trust in
strange company, and the closer she gets to her destination, the further from
salvation she seems.
