As the reclusive Madam Song shares more of her unusual tale, she makes an outrageous claim: She is the daughter of a notorious vampire named K, who many decades ago was responsible for a slew of murders and disappearances in Shanghai. Iho, the young artist painting the madam's portrait, struggles with this new information-but Madam Song's emotional revelation that K infected her mother feels too real to be a lie. She recounts how she agreed to work with the Order of Hunters to stop her father, sending her down a dangerous path of death and deception.
