The donks want a hobby, to stimulate them, pass the time and make them MORE interesting, so they settle on tie dyeing. Scarves, rugs etc will be created.
Herbie, whose best friends are the pigs, doesn't care as long as he doesn't have to have a tattoo! Molly, Donald and Fancy Nancy are intrigued; but, where will they get the material? What will Allergy Specialist, Claire, say when she sees 'the state' of her sheets?
The donks' idea of a pop-up shop seems a good one, what with all the local animals needing clothes and blankets. They even make a tiny profit!
Other adventures follow as the author's opinionated animals talk over taking a hot air balloon ride, visiting a spa, the benefits of herbalism and exercise and lots of visits to Lancashire for Eccles cakes in this hilarious donks dialogue. |
