Counter Measures examines what has led to the creation of AI, possible political preventions, and most importantly, it presents the few options we may have if humanity and AI enter into conflict. Counter Measures takes a deep look into military strategic and tactical thought on the topics of AI, transhumanism, and China's AI situation.
Many others have taken to writing on the topic of AI. Some of the top minds in science, technology, and philosophy have issued their ideas and warnings on the potential gifts and horrors awaiting humanity. This book is focused on trying to prevent the unchecked advance of AI, and if necessary, neutralizing the threat AI poses to all of humanity. The purpose of this book is to inspire and awaken the will to survive and to remind humanity that we all have a responsibility to protect the human species.
The purpose of this book is to promote a pro humanist view and to explain why AGI must be delayed. Additionally, it seems only logical to explore possible options for humanity to defend itself from a rival species that will be better at almost everything. As we run blindly forward into the oblivion with no regard for our future, it is imperative that humans begin to think about AI development and whether pursuing AGI is wise decision. |
