| The monograph is devoted to current problems of perception of the historical past and represents a new level in the structure of Russian historical consciousness - chronosubculture. Chronosubcultures include youth subcultures of romantic escapist type, whose activities are aimed at understanding and modeling cultural patterns of the historical past or its stylizations (reconstructors, bearded, Indianists, role players, fantasists, tolkienists, etc.) Chronosubcultures are a buffer between the mass and art - image block in the structure of historical consciousness.
