Sydnee Bloodruth came into a bloodline. The third issue brings what that means home. The asylum revelations, the family wreckage, the weight of Bloodruth Manor and the Book of Forbidden Magick, the cost of carrying a name built on generations of demon-hunting-issue #3 is the final chapter of the debut arc, and Sydnee walks out of it changed. The Soskas have written Sydnee from issue #1-the joint-write voice that carries the Rippaverse's horror lane-and #3 is where the bloodline's modern chapter and its Western past start speaking to each other.
