Games and beyond. In each area small gardens, pretty hidden squares and unique architectural details are disclosed to the reader. The last section suggests three irresistible routes outside the city: the wild beauty of the Costa Brava beaches; deliciously artistic and cosy Sitges - just a few miles away from the big city - and the stunning capital of northern Catalonia, Girona, with its fresh patios and stepped streets.

Jordi Carreras and Jordina Bartolomé are architects who majored from the prestigious ETSAB in Barcelona, passionate art lovers and Barcelona connoisseurs. Jordi Carreras has his own architecture studio in Barcelona and Jordina Bartolomé works as an architect, designer and teacher in Tarragona. |
