The short stories are to teach the youth a lot of things. For example, Anakanani and Anakamuna. They were good friends. Anakanani was a fool whilst his friend Anakamuna was wise. "Let's eat our mothers," Anakanani said. Although Anakamuna agreed, he did not eat his mother but his friend Anakanani ate his mother. This is a lesson to the youth to be careful with all their friends tell them. Anakaguku and Anakalahi, the two sisters, one was ugly but full of wisdom, and the other one was beautiful but was stupid.
My children, don't just read the stories but get the meaning out of the stories. |
