| Introduction
In a democratic country, each individual has the right to choose government through
the right to vote act. The voting system is a set of rules which take care of all aspects of the voting
process. E.g. who will be allowed to vote, who will be the candidate, how voters will cast
the vote, how counting will be carried out etc. In some voting systems, a single winner is
declared. While in another voting system, there are multiple positions so multiple winners are
declared. Depending on the rules, voting systems are categorized. |
