| In 1988 Gary wrote forty-seven poems in forty-seven days. He has not written anything since. His poems capture many aspects of human life-those things we strive for in ourselves and which we seek to find in others. The poems contained in this book are quite reflective and wanting at times. They are honest and confronting. They speak from the heart and to the heart of those who read them. Despite the darkness of places we have been, there is a common thread that binds all, uniting us in friendship and love. |
